DWC Issues Reminder to Use Updated QME Form

The California Division of Workers' Compensation issued a reminder for parties to use the latest revised form when requesting a panel of qualified medical evaluators in cases involving unrepresented workers. Claims administrators are required to send the updated QME Form 105 to the injured worker when a claim is disputed or there is a dispute relating to the primary treating physician's report.  The DWC adopted regulations simplifying the form to make it easier for unrepresented injured workers to understand.
