Former California state Sen. Ron Calderon withdrew a complaint seeking an order to show cause for why federal prosecutors should not be held in contempt for allegedly leaking a sealed affidavit to a news agency in 2013.
Calderon was indicted in February 2014 on charges of bribery, tax evasion, money laundering and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The case is currently set to go to trial in August.
