Wyoming’s monopolistic Division of Workers’ Compensation on Friday said it is working with a pharmacy benefit manager to implement a network that will pay for prescription drugs in accordance with the state’s medical fee schedule.
The division in a letter to independent pharmacy providers said it is partnering with CVS Caremark and its claims administrator, Corvel, to create a custom pharmacy network that will pay for medications at the lesser of 10% below the average wholesale price plus a $5 dispensing fee, or the provider’s usual and customary charge.
