Court Upholds Award Based on Impairment Including Rating for Loss of Strength

The Kentucky Court of Appeals ruled that an injured bus driver was entitled to an award based on a whole person impairment rating that included a rating for the loss of strength in her shoulder. Case: Greyhound Lines v. Slider, No. 2018-CA-000267-WC, 09/28/2018, unpublished. Facts: Kerry Slider worked for Greyhound Lines as a bus driver. She injured her right shoulder at work in October 2012. The injury required extensive medical treatment, including scapular muscle reattachment surgery.
