An employer is not liable for an employee's psychiatric care after she was sexually harassed because the Workers' Compensation Act does not provide coverage for sexual harassment, the North Carolina Court of Appeals determined. Marriott, No. COA11-816, 2/7/12, unpublished.Facts: Pamela Cagle, a cafeteria worker at Guilford College since 1988, was sexually harassed by Douglas Gilmore on a daily basis during the early 1990s.
