A Northern California applicants’ attorney facing up to two years in federal prison for crimes that included paying $400,000 in client referral fees to a union boss will be confined to his home for the next three months.
U.S. District Judge Haywood S. Gilliam Jr. on Monday sentenced Marc Terbeek to three months of house arrest, followed by three years of supervised probation. Terbeek must also pay a $7,500 fine.
