Respiratory, Electrical and Fall Hazards Bring $124K in OSHA Fines

The evacuation of a Louisiana food manufacturing plant led to an inspection by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration that resulted in $124,000 in fines for safety hazards. OSHA cited Diversified Foods and Seasonings for 25 serious and one other violation for exposing workers to hazardous chemicals, electrical dangers and fall hazards at its plant in Madisonville.
