Plastics Maker Hit With Multiple Citations for Safety Violations

A manufacturer of plastic storage bins in Ohio has been cited by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration for exposing its workers to amputation risks, falls and other hazards at its factory in Mansfield. OSHA issued nine citations against Edge Plastics Inc. for a number of hazards it found during an inspection last December, and has proposed total penalties of $43,200.
