Indiana's Workers' Compensation Board is set to begin testing a provider payment inquiry submission portal for adjusters on Monday.
The portal is projected to be up and running on Sept. 1, and adjusters will receive notice of the launch date. Use of the portal to submit PPIs will become mandatory on Oct. 1.
The portal will be accessed through Gateway and will allow adjusters to electronically submit all documentation, including SF1043, Medical Report and Waiver, and to follow each submission through review and approval.
