A nonprofit health clinic that serves low-income residents of Connecticut is embroiled in a lawsuit with its former workers' compensation carrier over the amount of premium due, according to a report in the Middletown Press.
The Workers' Compensation Trust, which serves health care providers in Connecticut, filed suit against the Community Health Center for over $133,999 that the carrier says is due after an audit for the policy year beginning July 1, 2011.
