Pie Insurance has begun online sales of workers’ compensation policies directly to small businesses in North Carolina, the company announced on Thursday.
Pie’s move into North Carolina follows its launch in seven other states this month: Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Tennessee and Texas.
Insurance offered by Pie is backed by Sirius Group, a company with an A rating from A.M. Best.
