The Missouri Court of Appeals ruled that a worker was not statutorily barred from pursuing a claim against the closed Second Injury Fund. Case: Krysl v. Treasurer, No. ED107591, 10/01/2019, published. Facts: Bruce Krysl was a sculptor for the Veiled Prophets of St. Louis, carving large characters for parade floats. In 2012, Krysl was diagnosed with diabetes, requiring treatment for peripheral neuropathy in his arms and legs, and other symptoms.
