Six Oklahoma lawmakers have released a statement ripping the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma for its firing of General Counsel Clay Bruner earlier this week.
According to The Oklahoman, Reps. Bobby Cleveland, R-Slaughterville; Lewis Moore, R-Edmond; Jason Murphey, R-Edmond; Jon Echols, R-Oklahoma City; Travis Dunlap, R-Bartlesville; and Dan Fisher, R-El Reno signed onto a joint news release calling Bruner’s firing Tuesday “shocking and outrageous.”
