DIR Proposes Changes to Subsequent Injury Account Rules

The Nevada Division of Industrial Relations is proposing changes to the rules for its self-insured employer subsequent injury accounts that would give the agency more time to respond to claims for reimbursement. The proposed rules would extend, to 60 days from 45 days, the time the division has to issue a decision regarding a claim for payment from the Subsequent Injury Account for Self-Insured Employers and the Subsequent Injury Account for Associations of Self-Insured Public or Private Employers.
