LAPD Officer Accused of Comp Fraud

Friday, April 27, 2018 | 0

A Los Angeles police officer was arrested on suspicion of workers’ compensation fraud, according to a report by Southern California Public Radio.

John Bailey, 43, was arrested Tuesday after a felony warrant was issued for his arrest.

The Los Angeles Daily News reports that the arrest warrant flowed from an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Workers’ Compensation Fraud Unit into a medical claim Bailey filed in early 2018, but did not provide additional details.

Bailey, a resident of San Bernardino County, was held in lieu of $60,000 bail.
