The California Assembly unanimously passed bills that would allow carriers to continue using debit cards to deliver indemnity benefits and give San Diego fire and rescue workers access to the same presumptions offered to other members of the state’s law enforcement community.
The Assembly voted 79-0 Thursday to pass AB 699, by Assemblymember Akilah Weber, D-San Diego.
