The South Carolina Supreme Court on Wednesday yanked an attorney’s law license for his repeated failure to properly manage funds owed to clients and co-counsel.
William Ashley Jordan’s misconduct between 1999 and 2005 had resulted in disciplinary charges being filed against him in 2011. While those charges were pending before the court, the Office of Disciplinary Counsel received a complaint pertaining to events that took place between 2009 and 2012.
Jordan admitted to the factual bases for the charges against him, which involved 22 separate client matters.
