Gov. Andrew Cuomo has made sweeping changes to the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board, appointing six newcomers and dumping four other commissioners.
The appointments, ratified by the state Senate on June 17, went virtually unnoticed, however.
Cuomo’s press office, which often issues a half-dozen press releases a day, made no mention of the new commissioners and did not respond to requests for comment. The board didn't announce the appointments, either, save for a single tweet and Facebook post sent out Thursday.
