Senate Passes Death Benefits Bill

The Virginia Senate on Friday passed a bill that would revise how death benefits are distributed among spouses, children and other dependents of deceased workers. The Senate voted 26-14 to pass SB 1299, by Sen. Jeremy S. McPike, D-Woodbridge.
