California’s Contractors State License Board reported that two contractors cited for allegedly operating without a license during a recent sting operation were also suspected of operating without workers’ compensation coverage.
Members of the board’s Statewide Investigative Fraud Team posed as homeowners in Novato and San Rafael, and solicited bids for services including painting, landscaping, concrete work, fencing and tree trimming.
