MEMIC Names Kelly Barden Corporate Communications Director

The MEMIC Group has promoted Kelly Barden to director of corporate communications. Barden started at MEMIC in 1998 as an intern through Southern Maine Community College’s Maine Career Advantage initiative. She was hired full time as a communications assistant, promoted to communications specialist in 1999 and became communications production manager in 2012. Barden graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in communications and has received a workers' compensation professional, or WCP, designation.
