The Florida Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) said Thursday its new electronic data interchange (EDI) formats for filing proof of coverage and non-medical claims took effect Jan. 7, after none of parties to a September workshop requested a formal hearing.
The agency issued notice Thursday to all Florida insurers and third party administrators that Rule 69L-56 has been adopted and requires all insurers to report the information electronically, rather than on DWC forms adopted in Rule 69L-3.
