Man Pleads Guilty in Compounding Scheme

A Linwood, New Jersey, man has admitted to defrauding state health benefits programs and other insurers out of more than $2 million by submitting fraudulent claims for medically unnecessary prescriptions for compounded medications. Nicholas Tedesco, 44, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Robert B. Kugler in Camden federal court on Tuesday to conspiracy to commit health care fraud.
