Fremont Compensation Lays Off Claims Staff

Fremont Compensation in California handed pink slips to all but 5 of the claims staff on Monday, according to sources in the industry. The last day for others in the San Francisco office will be October 18. Employers Insurance Company of Nevada (EICN) purchased Fremont Compensation out of California DOI supervision July 1 (see stories on July 3 and July 8).EICN, after the purchase, got its new subsidiary, Fremont Employers Insurance Co.
