The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California said it is working to track claims for COVID-19 and assess the impact of the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus.
The bureau said it’s partnering with other work comp organizations around the country to create unique codes to identify COVID-19 claims. The new codes will allow the costs of the claims to be tracked, measured and properly used for pure premium ratemaking and experience rating.
