Houston Cargo Handler Accused of Failing to Pay $800,000 in Premiums

A Houston cargo handler failed to pay more than $800,000 in premiums on workers’ compensation policies issued by a New York insurance company, according to a complaint filed June 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Granite State Insurance Co. sued Richardson Stevedoring and Logistics Services Inc. for breach of contract and unjust enrichment, seeking $837,715 plus interest and legal fees, according to the complaint.
