Nurse's Claimed Inability to Sit Without Pain Refuted by FCE, IME, Observation

A nurse who received temporary total disability benefits for about five years after falling on her tailbone lost the benefits after a functional capacity evaluation cleared her to return to light-duty work.  An appellate court upheld the decision to revoke her benefits, rejecting the nurse's claim that she could not sit or stand for more than 30 minutes without pain.  Case: Tassin v.
