CWCI Bulletin IDs Bills of Interest Enacted in 2023

The California Workers’ Compensation Institute on Monday published a bulletin identifying bills of interest to the state’s workers’ compensation community that were enacted this year. CWCI highlighted bills including AB 336, which will require contractors to certify work comp class codes when renewing their licenses, and SB 623, which expands the post-traumatic stress disorder to cover firefighters for the state Hospitals, Developmental Services, Veterans Affairs and Military departments and moves the sunset date to Jan. 1, 2029, from Jan. 1, 2025.  Gov.
