Employers Try Targeting Wellness Programs to Frequently Injured Workers

A wellness program that targets so-called frequent fliers in workers’ comp — employees with two or more work-related injuries within two years — has so far shaved $4 million off expected claim costs among participants at the University of California, Los Angeles.
