Legislation that would require California's Division of Workers' Compensation to implement a prescription drug formulary remains a work in progress with one week left before the deadline for the State Appropriations Committee to pass the bill.
Assemblyman Henry Perea, D-Fresno, amended his Assembly Bill 1124 on Aug. 17. The latest version of the measure would require the administrative director to establish an outpatient prescription drug formulary by July 1, 2017, as part of the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule.
