The co-owner of two hotels in Kansas and Missouri will serve 21 months in federal prison for hiring illegal aliens to lower operating costs by failing to collect payroll taxes and pay for workers' compensation coverage, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Kansas City, Kansas, announced.
Rhonda Bridge, 42, and her husband, Munir Ahmad Chaudary, 53, both pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to harbor undocumented aliens for personal gain. The couple admitted to hiring undocumented workers at the Clarion Hotels they owned in Overland Park, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri.
