Oxford Electrician Dies from Electrocution, OSHA Cites Co. for Willful Neglect

The company of an electrician who knowingly bypassed safety protocols in order to perform a circuit test and died from electrocution is facing upwards of $90,000 in penalties, according to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration.  Last year, Christopher Lee Dasher of Oxford, Florida, was performing a circuit testing technique but went around protocols laid out by OSHA to protect electrical workers.
