The Tennessee Supreme Court's workers' compensation panel decided that a lower court was in the right when it awarded a trash collector benefits based on an independent medical examiner's opinion.
The trial court had rejected the medical opinion of a doctor who allegedly screamed at the worker to get out of the office because he was a drug-seeking "fake" who was lying about lower back pain.
The Supreme Court agreed that that was a good move.
