The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation has extended a deadline for nursing homes and assisted living centers to apply for funding to cover indoor air quality improvements.
The BWC said in a news release that the facilities now have until March 31 to seek reimbursement for upgrades that could help reduce the spread of the coronavirus. The bureau's board of directors in November approved $28 million in grants, funded by the federal coronavirus relief act, to go toward the upgrades.
