The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation will hold a public hearing March 22 to review proposed changes to fee schedules for medical providers, hospital outpatient services and ambulatory surgical centers.
The bureau published the notice and the fee schedules in the Register of Ohio this week. Most of the fees for doctors appear to be unchanged. For hospital outpatient services, the fees are based on Medicare's Outpatient Prospective Payment System, which is updated annually.
The bureau must update its rules to stay in sync with Medicare, the bulletin said.
