Barbara Richardson Named Insurance Commissioner

The Nevada Department of Business and Industry announced Barbara Richardson will take over as the state's next insurance commissioner. Richardson comes to Nevada from New Hampshire, where she worked for the last 11 years as the director of operations and fraud for the Insurance Department. She also managed business, budget, information technology, human resources, criminal investigation, licensing and premium tax collection units while working for the New Hampshire Insurance Department.
