Pure premium will drop 6.6% in 2017, the fourth year in a row that the figure has fallen, Oregon's Department of Consumer and Business Services announced this week.
The average employer will pay $1.02 per $100 of payroll for claims costs and assessments in 2017, down from $1.10 in 2016. Employers will see the changes when they renew their policies.
Oregon's workers' compensation premiums are among the 10 lowest nationally, the consumer services department said.
