Legislation introduced in Oregon would allow state-chartered SAIF Corp. to form or acquire subsidiaries to provide services to injured workers.
House Bill 3374, introduced Tuesday by Rep. Hai Pham, D-South Hillsboro, would allow SAIF or its subsidiaries to provide managed care services to injured workers, authorize self-insured employers or other carriers to use its managed care services, and solicit and coordinate with medical service providers for treatment to injured workers.
