One-Month Grace Period Remains for Nonsubscribers to File Forms

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation is offering a temporary grace period to employers that don’t provide workers’ compensation coverage but have failed to file two required reports. Employers have until April 30 to file without penalties DWC Form-005, Employer Notice of No Coverage or Termination of Coverage, and Form-007, Employer’s Report of Non-covered Employee’s Occupational Injury of Disease.
