Overstocked shelves and blocked exit routes were among the hazards cited by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration this week when proposing $162,800 in fines against Dollar General for violations at its outlet in Sherman, Texas.
OSHA said it issued citations for two willful violations, two repeat violations and one serious violation against the store on Dec. 31, following a July 14 inspection. OSHA initiated the inspection because of a complaint about workplace safety hazards.
