Law Clerk Named Industrial Commissioner

North Carolina Industrial Commission Chairman Charlton Allen has appointed his law clerk to be deputy commissioner.
Ashley Moore also clerked for former commissioner Linda Cheatham and commission Vice Chair Yolanda Stith. Moore is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and earned her law degree from North Carolina Central University, according to a bulletin from the commission. She also practiced law in Wake County.
The commission meets Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Industrial Commission Law Library in the Dobbs Building in Raleigh. Members are scheduled to discuss potential changes to rules.
