Oregon’s joint labor-management workers’ compensation advisory panel said it is ready to start reviewing legislative proposals for the 2019 session.
The Management-Labor-Advisory Committee said organizations or associations that plan to introduce work comp legislation next year can present the proposal as soon as the next scheduled meeting on Oct. 1.
While MLAC won’t make recommendations on proposals until bill language has been drafted, the committee said in a statement that system users can start the vetting process earlier.
