Workers' compensation premiums will increase 0.7% next year in Washington state, the state's Department of Labor and Industries announced Wednesday.
The increase will cost employers about $10 more per employee per year on average.
For the past six years, the increase has been just over 1%.
The new rate will take effect Jan. 1.
L&I originally proposed the rate in September. It confirmed the increase after holding public hearings and taking comments online and by mail.
