July is the peak month for collisions and near-collisions involving long-haul trucking, DriveCam Inc., a global driver risk management company, reported Tuesday.DriveCam, headquartered in San Diego, Cal., said it has been studying the frequency of collisions and near-collisions in long-haul trucking fleets, using its database of more than 18 million driving events covering over two billion driving miles.DriveCam uses on-board video recorders to provide information on collisions and near-collisions.
