DWC: Underpayments, Fines and Stop-Work Orders Up in 2009-10

Findings of underpayments to injured workers in permanent disability cases jumped dramatically in fiscal 2009-2010, while fines levied against noncompliant employers and stop-work orders at job sites also increased, the Florida Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) reported this week.On Wednesday, DWC released its 2010 report to Gov. Charlie Crist and the Florida Legislature.
