The New York Senate unanimously passed a bill that would allow assistants for physical therapists and occupational therapists to treat injured workers.
The Senate on Tuesday voted 61-0 to pass Assembly Bill 1204. The Assembly passed the bill May 23, according to the Senate website, which did not provide a vote count.
The bill would allow assistants to treat injured workers under the direction and supervision of licensed and authorized therapists.
