Webinar to Explore Ramifications of Medical Marijuana

Coventry is hosting a free webinar in August that will explore the impact medical marijuana laws and rules are having on workers’ compensation systems throughout the state.

Pharmacist Nikki Wilson, Coventry’s director of pharmacy product development, and Lisa Anne Bickford, Coventry’s director of government relations, will review current regulatory trends, clinical aspects of marijuana use and the potential implications for the comp industry.

Continuing education credits are available for adjusters in 13 states including California, Florida and Texas. CEUs are available for certified case managers and registered nurses in all states.

The webinar is at 2 p.m. Eastern Aug. 7.
