A.I.M. Mutual Expands Coverage

A.I.M. Mutual announced that it expanded its workers’ compensation coverage territory to include Rhode Island.

The monoline workers’ compensation carrier based in Massachusetts said it was licensed to transact business in Rhode Island, effective Feb. 1.

With the addition of Rhode Island, A.I.M. Mutual said it now provides workers’ compensation insurance and services throughout New England.

The carrier, which started in Massachusetts 30 years ago, expanded into New Hampshire in 2001 and Connecticut in 2013. A.I.M. Mutual added Vermont to its coverage territory in 2017 and Maine in 2019.

A.I.M. said it insures more than 18,000 businesses throughout New England.
