CNA, a property and casualty insurance company, released a hospital claim report on Monday that analyzes nearly 600 professional liability claims that closed over a 10-year period.
The report makes recommendations to hospitals for enhancing patient safety and minimizing liability, although it cautions that it’s not a comprehensive risk-management strategy.
