Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin signed into law a bill establishing a universal one-year statute of limitations for billing disputes.
At the same time, the governor vetoed a bill that would have allowed injured workers to rely on circumstantial evidence to prove compensability.
Youngkin on Thursday signed House Bill 205, by Del. Shelly A. Simonds, D-Newport News, establishing a one-year statute of limitations for medical billing disputed without regard to the date services were provided.
